These terms and conditions relate to the services provided by Wright Way Training, please read them carefully before using our services.
Definitions of terms
In these terms and conditions ‘our’, ‘we’ and ‘us’ represents Wright Way Training as the service provider whilst ‘you’ and ‘your’ represents you as the client receiving the service being provided. We refer to the term ‘working day(s)’ throughout. To clarify, this means Monday to Friday 9.00am through to 5.00pm.
Online bookings apply to any bookings made through our online booking system or through e-mail. Telephone bookings apply to any bookings made via a telephone enquiry. Once an online or telephone booking has been made you will receive an email within 1 working day (Monday-Friday) to confirm your reservation and with an invoice for the total cost of the course. In this email confirmation, we will request a 50% deposit. Bookings are not confirmed until we have received this 50% deposit. Once we have received the 50% deposit, you will receive an information request form via email. This form will allow us to understand the setting in which the training will take place, so that we can ensure that we have the relevant equipment to enable us to deliver the training. It is your responsibility to ensure that a suitable training venue is available for the date(s) of the training. However, we are happy to support you in finding a relevant training environment should your own premises not be suitable. If you require us to book a training space on your behalf, this will be added to your final invoice. Please ensure this information request form is returned to us at least 15 working days (3 weeks) prior to the training taking place. This will allow us an adequate amount of time to organise a relevant training environment should your own premises not be suitable. Please note, bookings are for a maximum of 12 learners per course in order to ensure quality of teaching.
An initial 50% deposit is required at point of booking, please see above. The final balance is due 24 hours prior to the training taking place. We also welcome full payment at point of booking if this is more convenient for you. All payments should be made via BACS. Other methods may be used by prior arrangement. Please note, all payments relate to a set cost per course and is not per learner, the maximum number of learners on any of our courses are 12 in order to ensure quality teaching and assessing.
Where you fail to comply with these Terms and Conditions, Wright Way Training withholds the right to charge statutory interest (The Bank of England base rate, plus 8%, calculated daily) as well as any additional costs incurred relating to payments overdue. Please take note that certificates for training courses will not be issued until payment has been received in full by Wright Way Training.
Rearrangement and Cancellations
Notwithstanding the policies below we accept that sometimes training courses need to be cancelled for a variety of reasons. We will always endeavour to work in partnership with you in order to rearrange training rather than to cancel the training completely.
Notifications of rearrangements or cancellations must be made in writing and received by Wright Way Training within the timescales noted below:
Requests to rearrange training dates must be made in writing via email no less than 15 working days prior to the booked date. Rearrangements are subject to the availability of trainers and must be within 6 months of the original booking and are effective from the date on which we receive the request. Please note, you may be liable for any costs incurred by us for the original date for example, accommodation and course materials.
Cancellations made by you
Once a training course is confirmed that timeframe is secured to you, meaning we refuse other bookings for that date. Therefore, we cannot accept cancellations of less than 10 working days in advance of the training date. Cancellations made less than 10 working days prior to the training course will incur the full cost of any monies already paid. Please note there will be no refunds for if learners fail to arrive for training or if learners have to leave the training early.
Cancellations made by us
We always endeavour to run the training courses as scheduled. However, on occasions and due to circumstances beyond our control, we may have to change the venue or dates from those agreed. In these cases, we would try to rearrange the training for a mutually agreed date. Alternatively, should you wish to cancel your booking, we will of course provide you with a full refund of any monies paid.
Wright Way Training will provide the training course and course materials. Wright Way Training holds all intellectual property rights and copyrights of course materials. Most of our courses include workbooks which allow the learners to look back over what was covered in the session, these should not be reproduced. You are responsible for providing a suitable training venue and any other associated costs such as travel, accommodation and refreshments for personnel attending the course.
Travel and subsistence
If it is deemed that accommodation, transport and subsistence costs will be required for the trainer then this will be invoiced to you prior to the commencement of training. Travel costs will only occur when traveling more than 20 miles outside of the TA7 postal area and will be charged inline with HMRC guidance of 45p per mile.
Upon successful completion of a training course including any practical and or theoretical assessments, attendees will be issued with a certificate. All certificates issues will detail the learning outcomes of the course and will hold an expiry date which will indicate when the individual will be due a refresher course. All certificates will be sent to you within 10 working days following the training course.
